As a lifelong anglophile American, I am embarrassingly excited about this event even though I would never try to get near London on that date. I remember waking up brutally early in the morning in 1981 to watch the wedding of Charles and Diana on tv here inside the States. Kate and William appear like level headed people, worthy of admiration and deserving of their day. It wont be as private as they may perhaps prefer and I wish them the best. Such far better role models than the self-indulgent Hollywood stars who invest just as significantly on their lavish ceremonies only to divorce bitterly just several years later.
